Every year, Christmas arrives faster than it should. The shops fill up with the same things. You buy a wreath from somewhere convenient, hang it on the door, and feel — nothing in particular. You give gifts that are fine. You receive gifts that are fine. And somewhere in all of it, the season slips past before you had a chance to actually be in it.
The Christmas Studio is an invitation to do it differently. Come and make your Christmas wreath at one of Australia's first wreath bar — choose every stem, every bloom, every ribbon, and take home something entirely your own.
Or simply walk in and shop our new handmade ceramic collection, garden apothecary giftwear from our eco-certified farm at Waukivory Estate, and seasonal trimmings from just a few cents. No booking required to browse and buy.

ABOUT THE WREATH BAR
Not a workshop. Not a class. A bar — where you choose everything, and the wreath is entirely yours.
We've laid out an abundant display of wreath bases in a range of sizes, alongside fresh and dried foliage, florals, ribbons, berries and botanicals — individually priced. You choose your base, you choose your trimmings, you build your wreath the way you want it, and you pay for what you select. A smaller base beautifully styled costs differently to a full, abundant statement piece. The choice — and the result — is completely yours.
Stay and make it at Carrington House Studio — bring your own wine and nibbles, settle in with friends, and let the evening or afternoon unfold. Or take your selections home to assemble whenever you're ready. There is no template and no wrong answer.
Sessions run for two hours with ten people, keeping everything intimate and unhurried. Evening sessions across Thursday and Friday have a particularly lovely atmosphere. The earlier sessions have the widest selection of bases, sizes and trimmings to choose from. If you have a particular vision in mind, the morning sessions on Saturday and Sunday give you the full run of everything on offer..
What's included in your session?
A dedicated station with all tools — wire, scissors, glue guns and protective mats
Full access to the wreath bar — bases in a range of sizes — standard door wreaths, petite wreaths for cupboards and side tables, and a small number of garlands — foliage, dried florals, ribbons, trimmings and botanicals
A complimentary botanical, season-inspired tea on arrival — hot or iced
Your $25 booking deposit redeemed in full against your selections on the day
Full access to browse the studio shop — ceramics, apothecary giftwear and trimmings — during your session
Optional individual grazing hampers available to add at booking — perfect if you'd rather not bring your own
